The following information is for children’s safety and to keep your new play structure safe for years to come.

Daily Inspection

1. Check the playground surfacing to make sure there is 30cm of sand, pea gravel or wood fiber under structure. Remove any garbage.

2. Check all plastic for damage and string entanglement.

3. Check all climbers and posts for loose hardware. This can be done by pulling and shaking structure to see if there is movement. Tighten any loose hardware and be sure to use thread sealant.

4. Keep notes of inspection and any reported injuries and repairs.

Monthly Inspection

1. Using tools supplied with playground check all hardware. Be careful not to over tighten. Use thread sealant if any appear to be loose.

2. Using shovel dig down to ground bracing to check connections. Also ensure the surfacing depth is ok.

Yearly Inspection

Yearly inspection must be done by a playground inspector or equivalent to ensure playground standards and professional advice.

Failure to properly maintain your play equipment can void your warranty and possible cause life threatening injury to children!!
